SPOG Popcorn Seasoning
The Ultimate Game-Day Popcorn
If you haven't put SPOG on popcorn yet, you're seriously missing out. Salt, Pepper, Onion, and Garlic — our signature SPOG seasoning transforms a simple bowl of popcorn into a bold, savory snack that disappears fast. Whether you're watching the game, hosting a backyard cookout, or just snacking, this is the move.
Ingredients
- ½ cup popcorn kernels (or 1 bag microwave popcorn, plain)
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted
- 1½ teaspoons Cousin Tony's SPOG Seasoning (more to taste)
Instructions
- Pop your corn. Use a stovetop pot, air popper, or plain microwave bag — whatever you have on hand. Transfer to a large bowl.
- Add butter. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the warm popcorn and toss to coat.
- Season generously. Sprinkle Cousin Tony's SPOG Seasoning over the popcorn while tossing so every kernel gets covered.
- Taste and adjust. SPOG is bold — start with 1½ tsp and add more if you want a bigger punch of flavor.
- Serve immediately for the best texture.
Tips & Variations
- Extra savory: Add a pinch of smoked paprika alongside the SPOG.
- Spicy kick: Mix in ¼ tsp cayenne or red pepper flakes.
- Movie night upgrade: Toss with a little parmesan after seasoning.
Simple. Bold. Dangerously snackable. That's the Cousin Tony's way.
